The lists in connection with the issue of a £5,000,000 New Zealand Government 3£ per cent, loan at 97 were closed soon after opening this morning. A* cable message states that the loan has been oversubscribed. The lists closed in thirty-five minutes, THANKS TO AUSTRALIA (.Received October 6, 1 p.m.) LONDON, October 5. The "Evening News" considers that the response to the New Zealand loan is partly due to tho fact that the Australian Budget has drawn investors' attention to the remarkable,improvement in Australia and New Zealand. The "Daily Telegraph" says the impression in the city is that the New Zealand loan waa covered three or four times, this indicating that "stags" are numerous. It is expected tho loan will open at 1 to.-J premium, but will go higher, when the "stags" havo taken their profit. The favourable Australian Budget assisted to swell the applications. ' f
