GRATIFYING RESPONSE
Gratification at the response of the London investors was expressed by the Prime Minister (the Bt. Horn G. W. Forbes) and the Minister of Finance (the Et. Hon. J..G. Coates) today. "It is a tribute to tho belief which Great Britain has in the stability of New Zealand," said Mr. Forbes. "That was expressed to me while I was iv England, and I had every confidence that the investors would respond as they have done." Mr. Coates said that the success of the loai' was most gratifying, and showed that New Zealand's credit stood high in Great Britain.
