(Received October C, 1 p.m.\ LONDON, October 5. Mr. William Fowler, who lost an arm in radiological experiments in Jji.k., is dead. ' \ '■ Mr. William Hope Fowler, ftt.R.C.P.E., F.R.C.S.E., was Consulting. Radiologist to the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, and Radiologist at Bangcur Hospital, as well as Lecturer in Radiology at Surgeons' Hall, Edinburgh. He was born in 1876, and had a brilliant career at Edinburgh University, after which he was for a time House Surgeon at the Royal Infirmary. Foi years he was Radiologist to the Infirmary, and; he also held posts undc the Admiralty, and was a member of the War Office X-Ray Commission.
