(Received October 5, 11 a.m.) LONDON, October-4: Two New Zealand 'penny carmine stamps on a letter sent by a soldier in New Zealand in 1855 to his mother in Northumberland realised £115 at Harmer's auction. Tho ordinary postago was a shilling, but soldiers were privileged to pay 2d. A New Zealand 3d lilac, 1862, of which the only other known copy is in Franco, brought £240. A shilling yellow, 1855, brought £30,0.
