HAAKON RESUMING WORK

Dr. A. M. Grant's hunter Haakon, who won the Pakuranga Hunt Cup in 1932, is to be taken in hand again shortly to. be prepared for jumping races next year. He went amiss about twelve months ago, and he was fired before being tinned out last November.

Up to,the time he went wrong Haakon was shaping really well and appeared to be a fine steeplechaser in! the making. It was only his fourth start in a l'aee when he won the Pakuranga Hunt Cup, and it was unfortunate for his owner that he did not train, on, more especially, as he was left until ho was. a foiir-year-old before being called upon to. do any racing.
