DAIRY PRODUCE
MARKET REORGANISATION
DISAPPROVAL AT HOME
(By Telegraph.—Pres» Association.) AUCKLAND, October 4. :': It is understood that the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has been requested by the Importers' Association in London to postpone adoption of the proposals for reorganising the marketing of Dominion butter and cheese until the beginning of the 1934----35 dairying season. The association expressed disapproval of some of the board's proposals, according to the information available to the trade in Auckland. The proposals for a revised system of marketing were advanced in the first place by the association. These were considered by the board, which made amendments, the' chief of which was that no t'.o.b. or e.i.f. sales should be made below the ruling London price. The amendments were submitted to the Importers' Association recently, and a cabled "reply was received by the board last week. It is believed that the association was unable to give complete approval of the board's scheme, and requested that no action be taken until the beginning of the 1934 season. A suggestion that a delegation of importers should be sent to New Zealand was made by the association. \'
