WELLINGTON HARRIERS
The AVellington Harrier Club kola its annual dance and presentation of trophies in tho Wellington Rowing Club's Hall recently, ana the function was an unqualified success, over 150 being present. . , , . A. largo number of visitors was present, among these being Mr. W. H. Bennett (patron of the club), Mr. F. Wilton (president) and Mrs. Wilton, Mn C. A. Willis (chairman harriers sub-committee), Mr., J. E. Perston (presiaent, Olympic Club) ana Mrs. Perston, and a pleasing representation from the other harrier clubs. The dance music was provided by tho Pennsylvanians' Orchestra. Miss Thelma Wakeford performed a clever novelty tap dance, and a "Monte Carlo" dance was won by Miss I. Hardwick and Mr. H. Brady. The committee responsible for. tho organisation of the dance consisted of Messrs. H. Brady (hon. secretary), S. Morris, 11. S. McKinnon, J. MeConehie, and M. Cookc. • The lady supporters are also deserving of thanks for arranging the supper.
