SCOTTISH HARRIERS' DANCE
Great success marked the danuß given in St. Francis Hall by the Scottish Harriers last evening. More than 230 people were present, and the programme was carried through with enthusiasm and enjoyment. The gailydecorated hall made a colourful background for the many ■ pretty frocks. Mr. and Mrs. Southern Colledge gave exhibitions of the Bumba and ' the quick-step. The High Hatters Mayfair orchestra supplied the music, and Mr. I>. F. Dawkins was M.C. ■•" The committee and helpers who worked energetically to make the dance a success comprised Messrs. A. L. Stevens, G. Buchanan, J. D. McDonald, G. M. Parkhouse, B; Lawer, Black, D. McKenzie, and Whitehouse; Mesdames Gorry, Paulin, Violieh, Bayley, Stevens, John McMillan, Joe McMillan, Smith, Hudson, Wakoford, and Misses Wright, McFadyen, McKay, Holmes. During the evening the Mayor, Mr. T..G. A. Hislop, who was introduced by Mr. Ballantyne, president of the club, presented the trophies won during the season. ■ ' Among ilioso present were:—Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Ballantyne.'
