l<'ov the first time in her career the Union Company's intercolonial ./liner Monowai will call at Port Chalmers'early next year. It will be in the course o£ a, pleasure cruise, which has been arranged to commence i'rom Sydney- on January 2 and Melbourne on January 4 for Milford Sound. The cruise ' was ■ originally scheduled to be made to Milford Sound and then to Wellington, but it has nowbeen decided that the Monowai shall, in addition, make a call at Port Chalmers,
