FOUR MEN DROWNED
United Press . Association—By jElectrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received October 2, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 1.. The rough weather along tho coast was responsible for a boating tragedy today in the vicinity of Cronulla. Seven young men, despite the rain and a. treacherous surf, went deep-sea fishing. Their launch was overturned and four were, drowned, the other three being rescued.
The victims of the launch tragedy were: —Stephen Glceson, William Burrell, and two brothers named Hodgson. The ;anehor rope fouled the propeller, which was put out of action, and the boat was driven on the reef, and smashed. The men were thrown into the sea. Two swam ashore and a third was rescued by the life-saving reel. The other four were dead when brought out in the same manner.
