A PUZZLE IN GENOA
GENOA, September 28. The tragi-comedy of the reputed Professor Canella continues. JSo did not sail after all. While he was embarking the Brazilian Consulate unexpectedly applied, the ban to "Bruneri" and refused a passport. The. controversy concerns the identity of an Italian —whether he is Professor Canella or a man named Bruneri, who was accused of burglary. After a prolonged hearing the Court found in favour of tho Brunerian theory, but Signora Canella contended that the man in question was her husband, who went missing in the war and since was restored to her.
