(vice-president); from Kilbirnie, Misses - Peggy O'Connor, Eileen Duffy, ■ Joan'"'', Rogers, Elsie O'Domiell, and Nancy....';' Boyle. ■-■■...','. A tasty, supper was served of home- c . , made'cakes and savouries. The tables, t decorated iv blue and white bands interlaced in pleasing patterns, were charming with freshly-gathered Iceland';:" poppies sweet-scented boronia, and;" ' 'daffodils from Otaki. Gramophone "„., music supplied the orchestral accompaniment. - - Prizes were distributed to the winners ' of the games, items, and competitions, among them being Misses Agnes . ■ Thrower, Marie MeMahon, Violet Fisk, Elva Leader, Ivy Howard, M.■■ Irvine,....;.
