CANADIAN RAILWAYS
DISPUTE ABOUT WAGES
(Received September 30, 2.30 p.m.) MONTREAL, September 29. Thirty thousand employees of the Canadian Pacific and Canadian National Railways have voted to strike if the companies persist in the demand for a ten per cent, wage reduction. Further negotiations are proceeding pending a final decision to quit work.
