A crime wave swept North Queensland during the past week. Mail on a train was robbed and bomb outrages occurred at Townsville and Tully. Safes were blown, at the railway stations at Herberton, Pawngilly, Mirriwinnie, and Bambaroo, and also in business premises at Maaeeba and Atherton.
