The Hon. G. J. Smith and Mrs. Smith, St. Martin's, Christchureh, have returned homo after spending a few days in Wellington. Mrs. Arthur Duncan, Murphy Street, is spending a holiday in Rotorua. Miss St. Glair Inglis, Hawke's Bay, who has been spending a few days at the Midland Hotel, will leave tomorrow for Pahiatua, where she will visit her sister. Miss Margaret Talbot, Christchureh, arrived iv Wellington this morning to stay with. Mrs. John Smythe, Hataitai. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Humphries, Hawke's Bay, arrived in Wellington today, and are staying at the Midland Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey O'Leary have returned to Wellington after a brief visit to V/anganni and Palmerston North. Mrs. W. A. Whitlock, who lias been the guest of Miss Kiore King, Christchureh, will arrive in Wellington tomorrow morning, and will spend a few days here before leaving for her new home in Hastings. | Mrs. W. Hume has returned tp Featherston after a visit to Wellington. Mrs. Willes, Otahuna, who has been spending some months in Auckland and Tauranga, will arrive in Wellington , this week.
