At the Sydne/ wool sales today 12,773 bales were offered, of which > 11,331 were sold at auction and 309 privately. Prices were 5 per cent, below the closing rates of last week. All ■ descriptions of burryand faulty wools were irregular. Greasy merino made 2234 d for five' bales from Moree. , The average price" per bale' last week was £18 11s' 9d, or 14.1 d per lb.
