J * XTCmCE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it „ -" is the intention of the Wellington City Council to introduce in the forth' coming Session of Parliament the 'Wellington City and Suburban Highways Construction and Hutt Road Amendment and Empowering Bill. »c The objects that the said Bill is intended L, to effect are: — L\, 1. To temporarily suspend foe the financial year ending March 31, 1035, the ST, operation of Subsection two A of Section :w nine of the Hutt Road Amendment Act 1917, and to authorise the collection froir s. the contributory local authorities in re spect of the Hutt Road between th< Esplanade Hotel and Petone of an increase over the present annual amount of £1000 but not exceeding £2330, and that suel contributions may be expended not onlj for maintenance of the said portion of th( is Hutt Road but for the provision of ; !B cycle track and footway thereon. n 2.
