Herr Hitler and Dr. Schacht attended the meeting of tho Economic General Council, which approved the Government's plan to grant an additional credit of £25,000,000 for combating unemployment, including expenditure on house building and house repairs. Tho scheme provides for the consolidation of municipal short-term credits into long-term debentures, bearing 4 per cent, interest until October, 1936; thereafter 3 per cent.
