TOWNSHLLE OUTRAGE

ATTRIBUTED TO GRUDGE

TOWNSVILLE, September 20,

A bomb placed under a bedroom at the house of Mr. J. P. Quinn, Crown Prosecutor, overnight exploded ■ and blew up the floor and bedstead in which were Mr. Quinn and his wife. They escaped injury, but are- suffering severely from shock. The crime is believed to have been committed by somebody with a grudge against Mr. Quinn.
