GENERAL WRACK FASTEST
Interesting features of the trotting meeting at Hutt Park last Saturday were the comparative evenness of the times recorded for mile and a quarter races, and the fact that Genera! Wrack, winner of the slowest class, 3.7, was responsible for the fastest record,, 2.52 4-5, Donum recorded 2.34 2-5 to win the 3min Napier Handicap, and Nyallo Silk, who was second, went 2.55, both registering a Bhade faster time than Lord Leslie did to win the 2.54 East Coast Handicap in a hard finish with Jewel Elect and Special Sun.
