WAIWETU LADIES' CLUB

The following team will represent Waiwetu ladies at Titahi Bay on Saturday, m a Mary Alward Cup match:—Mrs. Evison, Miss Robinson, Mrs. Ryan, Mrs! Clemmens, Mrs. Wilson, Mrs. Hatfield, Miss Davidson, Miss Findlay, Mrs. McKay, MisS Milne, and Miss Horman. Last weekend the second eighteen holes of a thirty-six-hole electric competition were played for Mrs. Pulley's Trophy, the winner being Mrs. Wilson with 88, 12—76. Miss Robinson and Mrs. Hatfield were runners-up with net 78 each, half handicap being deducted. '

The Weekly Ball and Winter Cup points were tied for by Mrs. Clemmens, 94, 22—72, and Mrs. Wilson, 95, 23—72; Miss Davidson and Mies Horman tied for second place with net 73 each, and Miss Milne was third with net 75.

In the semi-final of the junior championship Mrs. Hatfield beat Miss Findlay. Mrs. Clemmens and Mrs. Wilson were all square at the eighteenth, but were disqualified for leaving the course before completing the match, Mrs. Hatfield thereby winning the junior championship. The following is the draw for an L.G.U. -competition to be played in conjunction with a flag competition for Mrs. Wilson's Trophy, next Sunday morning:—Mrs. Hatfield and Mrs. Ryan; Mrs. Clemmens and Mrs. Wilson; Miss Robinson and Miss Davidson; Miss Findlay and Mrs. McKay; Miss Milne and Miss Horman; Miss Pearce and Miss Lockett; Miss Taylor and Miss Wittich; Miss Mills and Miss Williams; Miss A. Hogg and Miss Burbidge; Miss Hodgkinson and Miss Lawrie; Miss Sheehy and Miss Guthrie; Mrs. Maitland and Miss Barraiid; Miss Haggitt and Miss Hazelton; Miss N. Dixon and Miss Veiten; Miss R. Dixon and Miss Wells; Miss Chittey and Miss Crookes.
