After discussion, it was resolved that the club would carry on, but before holding another show to pay all outstanding accounts. The sum of £12 was offeredbV members present, and keen interest was displayed, promising well for future ac.ti- / vities. . • "'■■■''..." : . .

A letter was tabled from the. Wellington A. and P. Association which stated that it would not allow the club to conduct a show in conjunction with its spring fixture unless pajiient was made for, passes issued the Kennel Club. . ' ,

Tho meeting voiced the opinion that it would be impossible to again hold a show in conjunction with the A. and-P-Association, and regret was expressed at the attitude the association had taken up. A meeting is to be held in October ; t6 discuss the question .'of ah independent show. . , . , . ■ ■'•'■■,'

It was explained that the last kennel show held with the A. and P. Association had been a record one for thei club,- btit the conditions imposed by the: association had prevented the club from^ showing ia. profit. Undoubtedly the show authorities had benefited by the.display of doge, but dissatisfaction had been expressed, by dog fanciers. visiting from a distanc* that passes were not.available. : [. ,\ .
