PRICE OF EGGS.

First grade eggs are now being sold wholesale in Wellington at from lOd to lid per dozen.

Another consignment of eggs for the United Kingdom of 792 crates, containing 23,000 dozen eggs, has been shipped by the Canterbury Egg Export Committee on the Rangitata, which left Lyttelton on Monday. The committee expects to ship a consignment of 25,000 dozen eggs in about a fortnight.
