(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. Several heavy showers fell last night but the weather was fine for training operations this morning. Fiji went five furlongs in lmin 4sec, striding out well. Acceptable went half a mile in 50 l-ssec. ■ • Maypay and Quebec did half a milo in 51sec. Knollmere went five furlongs in lmin 4 4-ssec. Count Palatine and Brambletorn did six furlongs in lmin 18sec. Tantara went .half a mile in 52 l-ssec. Slippery and Passion Fruit went five furlongs together in lmin 3 2-ssee. The latter- went particularly well. A largo number of other horses did serviceable work.
