PETONE TECHNICAL COLLEGE
The monthly meeting of the board of managers of the Petone Memorial Technical College was held last evening. There were present.Mr. D. McKenzie (chairman), and Messrs. E. W. Campbell, J. W. Longman, W. V. Dyer, A. Grierson, P, Warner,' and W. B. Nicholson.
■The principal reported that the electric range donated by the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board had been installed, and was now in use. It. was decided to forward to Miss Anderson the appreciation of tho board in the. interest she takes in the dressmaking class, and to thank her for tho donation of prizes. • . The appointment of a teacher for the speed shorthand class was left in the hands of the appointments committee.
