BASKETBALL DANCE
HOSPITAL CLUB
A very successful dance was held recently at the Pharmacy Hall by the Wellington Hospital Basketball Club. Some 230 guests were present, 'and a most enjoyable evening was spent. Prizes %vere won by Misses Barringer and Wing, tho holders of lucky supper tickets. Tho Monte Carlo was won by Mr. and Mrs. T. Eichardson, and the lucky spot waltz by Miss Ashbridge and Mr. Jacobson. A spectacular, military ballet presented by Miss Hazel Martin and her pupils was much appreciated. ' .
A dainty, supper was served by members of the team, the supper tables being decorated with the club's colours. ■
Mesdames Zohrab and Labono, who were hostesses, received th,e guests, the former wearing a gown of claret ring velvet, and the latter black lace.
