Lady Findlay,'who has been visiting her son and daughter-in-law, Squad- | ron-Leader. and Mrs. J. L. Findlay, Sockbu.rn, Christchurch, will return to Wellington on Sunday morning. She will be accompanied by Mrs. J. L. Kndlay, who will visit Wanganui. Miss Thyra Gill, Eawhiti Terrace, who has been the guest of Mrs. Webber, Frene.h Pass, returned to Wellington yesterday. Miss Nancy Webber returned last week.
Miss Norah Hoare, Christchurch, will arrive in Wellington shortly, en route to Wanganui, where she will take a course of training at the Karitane Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Bell-Irving, .Powell Kiver, Vancouver, are visiting Welling ton, and are staying at the Hotel St. George. Mr* Bamsden has returned to Hawke's Bay, after a brief visit to Wellington.

Mrs. S. Andrews has returned to Waikanac, after "spending a week in Wellington.
Miss Ina Bruce, Wellington, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. James Lambie, "Inverell," Ashburton. Miss D. Allen, Christchurch, has returned south after a brief visit to Wellington. Mrs. Norman Gooder,. Kolburn, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. G. M. Smith, Christchurch. Mis« Jean Smith, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, has returned south. Mrs. J. D. Miss' Sylvia Wilson, Wellington has been appointed housekeeper at Nelson College. Miss Wilson served as a V.A.D. at Cairo and Brokenhurst during tho War; and for some time was in charge of the Kiwi Club in London. On returning to New Zealand, Misa Wilson was for four years matron at St. Andrews College, Christchurch, and for some eleven years was in chargo of tho Women's Students Hostel, Wei lington. She has left Wellington for Nelson to, take up he* new duties. Misses Bessie and Maisie Harris will arrive in AVellington from ChristcTiurch tomorrow. Miss Dorothy Perkins was Isn't evening appointed by the board of managers, of the Petone Memorial Technical College instructress of its art class. The resignation of Mise S. _S. Campbell from the position, of instructress to the speed shorthand class of the Petone Memorial, Technical College was last evening accepted by th» board of managers, and the secretary was instructed to forward to Miss Campbell the appreciation of the board for her long service. , ' • ■
