PHYSICAL CULTURE DISPLAY
Attractively arranged and: planned equally from entertainment and educative standpoints, the annual display Of modern physical culture by Frieda Shaw and her pupils will take place at th*Blue Triangle Hall on Wednesday, Sep tember 20. The display is one that isawaited eagerly by many people in Wei lington, and this year the programmis a particularly comprehensive one Two of the items presented last year —the "Colour Card" and "Fencing Exercises" —are to be repeated, by special. request, and 'as the colour and lighting effects have received particular attention, these items should be even more . popular. Another impressive feature will be the corrective and gen eral toning, exercises, to be performed by three competitive groups of girls,
[and the audienco will bo asked to vote for the group whose performance they consider best. Frieda Shaw will demonstrate advanced reclining exercises in company with her two daughters. An original item will be an interpretation of the "Valse Triste" by Miss Marion Todd. All tlio music for the display has been arranged, and will bo. played, by Miss Gladys Watkins.
