AVONDALE SPRING DATES
Representatives of the Avondale Jockey Club, Wellington Racing Club, and the Auckland District Committee attended a meeting of the clates^siib-committco of the New Zealand Racing Conference executive in Wellington yesterday in connection with the position that arose over the subcommittee's decision in allocating AvondaJe October 7 and 9 in lieu of October 14 and 16 for its Spring Meeting. The Wellington Racing Club withdrew nn,y objection to the Avondale Jockey Club's racing on October 14 and 16, as the Avondale Club had no objection to the Wellington Club's racing on October 19, 21, and 23, and it was decided that the Avondale Club be granted October 14 and 16.
