DOCTORS DIFFER
THE COATES FARMS
An admission that lie was "not very, much enamoured" pf what has been called the ten-acre "small farm" scheme was made by the Minister of -Lands (the Hon. E. A. Bansom) at Lyttelton last week. "I am more in favour of larger farms up to fifty acres on which the settlers can make a living," said the Minister. "I do not approve of putting a man on a farm unless he has some prospects of making ,a living from it in. normal times. About fifty acres, carrying twenty-five to thirty cows, is the best sizej I think."
