Tho Farm Administrators cm Thursday called a conferoiiec for next Monday at Portland, Oregon, to discuss plans for a now export movement oi! wheat to the Orient. Mr. George Peek, the Chief Administrator of the Farm Act, said that a proposal would be considered at Portlaud for a marketing agreement with North Pacific ■ exporters, under which they would be reimbursed for losses in selling wheat abroad at less than the1 American price. The Secretary for Agriculture, Mr. Henry Wallace, told newspapermen on Thursday that there was a prospect of an additional processing tax on wheat and cotton, if the price pf products continued to decline.
