BOXER'S INJURY
(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") DUNEDIX, August 10. A professional fight which was to have taken .place at Dunedin next Tuesday between Alf Reekie (Dunedin) ■ and Colin Jones (Oamaru) is now off. In the fourth ' round ■of his contest with- Les Adams at Invercargill last night, Reekie tore the muscles of his ribs. He carried on till the seventh' round, when he'had to give up. A doctor states that he will not be able to fight for at least ten days.
To win a wager of £100, Mrs. Winifred Musters is walking around Great Britain and Ireland. During her travels she is not to spend a penny on food, shelter, or transportation.
