WADESTOWN MEETING
Assembling at Mrs. G. L. Stewart's residence, Weld Street, Wadestown, members of the Wadesjowri Group of the Women's Social Progress Movement held their annual meeting recently. There was a large attendance, and Hiss McLean (president of > the movement) was present. Tho annual report and financial statement were read and adopted, both being very satisfactory. , ' ' The eloction of officers resulted as follows:-—Convener, Mrs. G. L. Stewart; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mrs. J. A. Campbell; committee, Mesdames Curtis, Inglis, Craig, Parlane, W. IVleGowan, Booth, and Miss Cook. Krs. Simcox sang two songs delightfully, and Miss Crump gave- an interesting talk on tho present crisis. A home-made tea was served, and an interesting and pleasant afternoon came to a close.
