AUCKLAND SUPPLY SCHEME
MONEY AVAILABLE IN LONDON
LONDON,1 August' 9. The "Financial Times" mentions the New Zealand company's proposal to supply Auckland with water" from the Waikato River, and the report that a million .sterling is available in London if the scheme goes through. An editorial pays a tribute to New Zealand^ loyalty, in proof of which it says preference exists there in a dual sense of a desire to buy British as well as sell British, and in tho sense , understood by the Ottawa Agreement.
