A NEW STORE FOR CHRISTCHURCH
J. K. MeKenzie, Limited, liavo arranged to take over the premises at present occupied by Newmarket, Limited, Colombo Street, Christchurch, and intend to turn them into a commodious departmental store. The premises will be entirely remodelled with new fronts, and the upper floor will be used as a bulk store. The firm's definite policy of employing local tradesmen in all its alteration work will be carried out in regard to the new store. J. 11.
