(Received August 10, 2 pun.) VANCOUVER, August' 9. The Canadian Manufacturers' Association, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and the Vancouver Trade Board announced that committees had been appointed to study the working of the Roosevelt National Eecovery Act with a view to similar enterprise in Canada, if warranted by the United States results. The adoption of the code wage system in, the leading Washington industries has led to a demand for an embargo on Canadian lumber on the grounds that Canadian workers are paid much below the new United States scale. '
