Merritt (New Zealand) again performed well in the latest series of Lancashire League cricket matches.- He scored 36 and took eight wickets for 66 runs. Cromb (New Zealand) made only 3 runs and took three wickets. McDonald, who failed to score, took five wjekets, Fairfax made 7 and took no wickets, Hird compiled 25 and took two wickets, and Richardson, who.made 2 runs, took six wickets. :
