(From "Vedette.") SYDNEY, August 3. Tho Epsom-Metropolitan market \& now settling down to shipshape order, and owners and trainers are showing their hands a little. Of course, each week now will sco winners and near-winners talked about as either Epsom Handicap or Metropolitan possibilities, but the market will be more stable. ' This week a declaration was made for Kuvera iv the Epsom Handicap, and he was taken out of the Metropolitan. Knvera has also been supported fov the Caulfield Cup. G. Price, who still trains the colt,- has Shakutii, Blister;... Maltdale, Kanchero,.and. Air Queen in .tho big spring raced, so.he has plenty of representatives'. ' ' ' ■ ' ■ Bronze Hawk is still favourite for tlio Epsom Handicap, with Kuvera now second choice. On the third line are Rogilla, Chatham, Dcrmid, and the New Zealandeis Inflation; nnd Silver King. -Among tlio fourth bunch arc Cottesmore, Cricket Bat, Dole, Gold Trail, Havering, .and Korokio. .
