FOR SCOTS COLLEGE
BRIDGE PARTY LAST NIGHT
PARENTS' ASSOCIATION
With all its windows gaily lighted, the old Ministerial residence -in TinaIcori Road, in its picturesque surroundings of old trees, presented a very animated appearance last evening, when all the largo rooms downstairs were occupied with bridge pfaycrs. The party, which was a very successful one in every way, was arranged under the auspices of the Scots .College Parents' Association by Mesdaines • Black, Brown, Cuthbertson, Fairley, Geddis, Hudson, Longmore, Benai ' (Mcthven), and Turner. The party, originally fixed to take place at Mrs. Longmore's residence, grew so much in size that, through the courtesy of the Hon. E. A. Ransom, it was transferred to the, Ministerial residence. Festoons of coloured streamers from a central lamp-ehado made effee-, tive decorations in the main room, and spring flowers and Iceland poppies adorned the supper table. .The supper was all donated, and the furnishings kindly lent, so that the funds for the new pavilion at the college will benefit considerably from this effort. The hostesses were very 'grateful for all the help received. Among the players who arranged tables were Mesdames Hogg, Spidy, C. W. Salmon, Gunn, D. C. Peacock, Widdop, Hazelwood, Luke, Tbwnsend, Davidson, Hope-Gibbons, A. E. B,rown, R. Steele, A. A. Cramond, E. J. Parr; P. Taylor, J. Leuchars, I. Smith, J. R. Cooper, C. A. Thorpe, R. C. Moffatt, H.
