INJURY TO TRAINER
The Ellerslie trainer V. Gilehrist met with an accident while handling a horse at his stables on Sunday morning. Tho horso struck him with its head, causing Gilehrist to lose his balance ana to Jilt' the'edge of the door, .which inflicted a nasty injury' to his head. The wound required' several stitches, ,and ho is .at present confined to his bed.
