SUCCESSFUL OWNERS
PATRONS OF TRENTHAM ESTABLISHMENTS
The stakes earned by Trentham establishments during the season just closed have, .been distributed among .numerous owners. Several of these owners are pat' rons of stables* in other centres, and.it is not .at- present .possible to assefs their lull season's winnings, but the sums they have won with horses trained at Trentham stables show that some at least of them have been able to make their racing pay during the term. . .. ' The, following table gives the amounts over £100 earned for owners in stakes while their hbr-ses have been in charge of Trentham trainers:—

.Although .at the-head of. the list, Mr. Kiddiford lias riot won a» much in stakes as he did two seasons ago, when his winnings were £2110 10s, placing him fourth on Hie list, following Mr. Kemball (£3701), Messrs. Aitken and Wood (£3251). and Mr. R. J. Murphy (£2854). Messrs. Aitken and Wood, the owners of Aiitopay, again hold a high position, being .in ' aecoDd ;• place, as-they were the previous season,. Mr. Bellinger, ■ though now third as compared with, sixth two seasons ago, has won only a little more in stakes, his present total of £1051 being only £S7 in excess of what he earned the 'earlier season. Mr. R. JV Murphy's horses were not at Trcrttbam last season, and Mr. IT. Murphy, 'who w4s. fifth ■ with £1523 10a two seasons ago, had only Late Jest to carry his colours* last season. - Mr. Kernbull'has, distributed his horses among three centres in ■ the Dominion, as. well as sending hia'likeliest horses to Australia, and this .accounts .mainly for his diminished Trentham winnings. . . ; Tliree'seasous ago "(T930r31) most of these leading owners also held, a 'high place in the Dominioii's list.
