MASTFRTON MARKET

The New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Distributing Company offered at Masterton yesterday 720 sheep, 160 head of cattle, including 109 dairy cows and heifers, and 30 pigs. The company reports that ewes in lamb and hoggets were keenly competed for, and sold at advanced prices. Fat wethers sold a little better than last week, while fat ewes were a little easier. Fat cattle improved considerably, while stores also advanced.
