MAORI ENTERTAINMENT.
The Maori artists that arc to assist the Maori mission party in the Town Hall pageant nest Tuesday are already arriving in the city in ours and twos. Mereaua Kaitaia, from the North: Cape, arrived yesterday morning, as also (did Hohepa lutawhiao of Southland.: In the ■ afternoon, llangi Tawhai, from Hokianga, arrived with Ako Pihama and AVaru Tokikuri, o£ tho Waikato. Other representatives .from Otsgo, Canterbury, West Coast, Taranaki, King Country, and Eotorua are expected at an early date. Descendants of the greatest chieftains of the grand old days and cradled in genuine Maori traditions' and customs, this unique party will give realistic displays of their social pastimes, dances,' stone age games,, and pois. and will sing authentic ancient waiatas and paos. ;
