The four-year-old Riiri, by Surveyor from Juanna, has been.purchased from Mr G. Paul by Mr. C. B. O'Donnell, of Wellington, owner of King's Knave, and partowner o£ Impasto. Ruri has shown useful form in'the hack class, and may prove a profitable purchase for Mr. O'Donnell, who has had good results with Kings Knave, whom he purchased from Mr. Paul last year. • Ruri will in future be trained by A. Cook, of Te Awam'utu.
