The establishment of a Boyal Com« mission to inquire into the operations of tho Bank Act in Canada' was completed on Monday with Lord Macmillan, the British jurist, as chairman.* Th« others are: Sir Charles Addis, English banker and economist; Sir Thomas White, wartime Minister of Finance; the Premier, Mr. Brownlee, of Alberta; and Mr. Beaudry Leman, general manager of the Banque Canadienne Nationale.
