The Empire delegations stressing thai need for co-operation in monetary mat* tera have agreed to recommend their Governments to consult' one another from time to time on monetary and economic policy with j, view of cstab* lishing a common purpose and reaffirming such measures as might conduce towards the achievement of that purpose. . .

Britain's signing of the declaration, especially Sections 0 and 8, is regarded, as a triumph for the Dominions a3 the result of protracted negotiations. The statement was signed by Mr. Neville Chamberlain (Britain), Mr. K. B. Bennett (Canada), Mr. 8. M. Brueo (Australia), Mr. G. W. Forbes (New Zealand), Genera! J. C. Smuts (South' Africa), and Sir Henry Strakoseh (India).
