Sir John Sandeman Allen today sailed for Mombassa. Thence ho goes to Australia and New Zealand on general Empire work.

Sir John Sandeman Allen is a Conservative- member o£ tho House of Commons, his constituency being the West Derby Division of Liverpool. Ho has been associated with several large commercialand financial institutions in Liverpool. He is a member of tho International Chamber of Commerce and tho Association of British Chambers of Commerce, and is a deputy-chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerco of the British Empire, and vicepresident of the Royal Empire Society. His first vvife was Miss Amy Spencer, of Christchurch, New Zealand.
