NELSON, July 29. The senior championship Eugby match between Pirates and Old Boys at the Park today produced a poor display. Pirates won by 24 points to nil. McKain, Faulkiner, Hume, Todd, Newman, and Morgan scored tries, Newman converting three with fine place kicks. : At Richmond, Waimea beat Nelson by 6 points to 3.

The championship points now arei,— Pirates 9, Rivals 7, Nelson 6, Old Boys-4, Waimea 4.
