In a bogey competition played on the Shandon links on Saturday afternoop, C. T. Brown (9) and R.< Toom'ath (11) tied with all square. A medal round played over the weekend saw S. Rodger win-with 88, 16—72. N. Wilson, 89, 16—73, and C. T. Brown, 85, 12 —73, were next. . A fourball best-ball bogey resulted in J. Melvin and C. Letford winning, 7 up. E. Dawson and Rawlinson (15) were 6 up, N. Wilson (12) and R. Toomath (14), and C. Marchbanks (4), and K. Jeffery (5) were 5 up. In the first round of the senior championship, C. Marchbanks beat H. N. Mackenzie, 5 and 3; R. G.. Hay ward beat W. R. Stuckey, 1 up at the twenty-first; W. R Tustin beat J. S. Hunter, 1 up at the nineteenth; D. M.Boyd beat C. T. Brown, 6 and 5; R.: T. Podle beat C, L. Bishop, 3 and 1.
