HUTT CLUB
A bogey competition played on the Hutt links on Saturday was won by H. S. Wilkinson (18), with 1 up. A stroke competition resulted in a tie between C. M. Watt (6) and L. Hanratty, who had a net 79. A fourball best-ball competition played during the weekend was won by W. H. Lees, sen. (18), and T. A. Bridges (11), who finished 5 up. The final of the Hughes Memorial Cup competition ■ over 36 holes saw W. G. Fisher -(3) defeat H. W. Cormack (12) by 7 up and 6 to go. In the 6emi-final of the Wilford Cup, W. J. Hutchison and W. B. Rainey beat D. F. and N. W. Perter, 3 and 2, and will meet F. J. Hiriee and G. C. Phillips in the final. .
The first round of tho club championships will be played next weekend.
